Jefte Valle
I am a first-generation American Puerto Rican born in Brooklyn, New York. I’m forever grateful for my faith in Jesus Christ Who has guided me through the years as a husband, father and a Children's Ministry leader to a Head Elder in my house of worship.

Inspired
My watercolor journey literally started when sitting with my granddaughter while watching her paint.
My Watercolor Journey
So inspired by what I witnessed, I immediately joined her.
I loved it so much that since that day I've continued to explore the art of watercolor while teaching myself to paint.

An Essential Expression Of Puerto Rican Culture
Bomba
This painting represents Bomba, the native music and traditional dance of Puerto Rico. Bomba is a mashup of music by slaves from diverse African tribes for communication, indigenous TaÃno percussion instruments, and Spanish (Spain) dance steps, together representing the cultural mix of Puerto Rico. Today it has evolved into a collaborative art form between dancers, percussionists and singers. It is a communal activity in celebration of Puerto Rican culture.
