Robert Espier Ayala
Robert’s interest in photography dates back to his childhood with a passion for newsreels and photo=reportage in popular magazines of the day; such as LIFE, LOOK, the Saturday Evening Post, Colliers, and National Geographic, the New York Daily News and Daily Mirror.
Thus began his absorption in art photography of the Street Photography genre.

His interest in becoming a newsreel cameraman shifted to still photography when he was 18 and able to afford his first professional quality camera, a 35mm Honeywell PENTAX HII.
Early in his photographic trajectory, Robert was awarded a prize by the Japan Trade Center (ca. 1961).
